Can Trade Me improve my site traffic?

The short answer is hell YES! We monitor around 30 websites via google analytics and last Thursday I was blown away by 1,000 unique visitors to the RPMS website in one day! While RPMS do receive a good amount of site traffic this was a serious jump. And the reason for it – a wee click thru link at the bottom of the Trade Me Mod’s motors newsletter. Took me awhile to find it but it is there near the bottom under ‘new NZ automotive site’.

I ended up reading through Mod’s Motors newsletter (not that I’m much of a petrol head) but I found it a great read with lots of info and links and a definite sense of humor. Obviously it’s hitting the automotive target market right in the sweet spot for that sort of response to RPMS, needless to say identifying your target market is key then the trick is finding the best ways to connect with them.

Big ups to Ange and Nelson from RPMS for not only creating a very unique business but also for working their butts off in making sure their brand is right out there. They also follow this up with facebook profiling and blogging. And in closing if you check out their site you will see that huiadesign is not just for the girls, we do a pretty good job of boys and their toys as well!
